What times do you open?
We open 6 days a week Wednesday to Monday from 10:00am and our last booking slot is 8:30pm
Can I book by phone and pay in person?
Yes our number is 01485528353. We do take a 20% deposit to secure your booking.
Can I book and pay online?
Yes. Please follow our secure links to book your visit on our website.
What if I need to cancel my booking. Can I get a refund?
As long as you give us at least 24 hours notice then we will offer you a full refund. Within 24 hours of your booking you will be offered an opportunity to reschedule your visit but unfortunately we will be unable to offer a refund.
Can I reschedule my visit?
Yes we allow you to reschedule once but this then negates your ability to cancel and receive a refund.
Can I bring my stag/hen party to visit
Of course. We will endeavour to make your visit very memorable and treat you all like kings and queens but please remember that there will be no axe throwing under the influence of intoxicating substances. So come early and then you will be free to enjoy the rest of your special day.
How many people can attempt an escape room?
The School room and WhoDunIt? can each accommodate up to 8 players in each room.
Spy Vs Spy can accommodate up to 12 people in two teams of 6.
The minimum number we require in order to race through the rooms is 3 per team.
How many people can an Axe throwing lane accommodate?
We will put no more than 4 people in one lane. We will endeavour to spread your party across multiple lanes so your party can get the maximum enjoyment from your time with us.
Can I park on site?
Yes we have ample parking for up to 30 cars and can even accommodate coaches and larger vehicles.
Am I able to buy refreshments on site?
Yes, We have a fully catered coffee shop on site that is open during the day. During the evenings we have cold drinks, crisps, chocolate and tea and coffee available.
Is axe throwing safe?
As long as participants follow the safety procedures and exercise common sense then axe throwing is a safe activity.
What is the minimum age for axe throwing?
We advise that participants be at least 11 years old.
What is the minimum age for Escape rooms?
We advise that for WhoDunIt? and The School Room participants be aged 8+ and for Spy Vs Spy 11+
Can I participate if I'm pregnant?
Yes. There are currently no jump scares or surprises in any of our escape rooms and all rooms have at least one chair where pregnant mums to be can take a rest should they wish.
The axe throwing is mildly strenuous but we always have a sofa, a foot stool and a cup of tea on hand for our visiting Mums to be. You have to look after that little future axe thrower.
Can I throw axes wearing sandles/flip flops?
We advise that the minimum footwear be a closed toe training shoe or equivalent. Our axes are sharp and rebounds do happen. As with any activity of this type, common sense should prevail so please come prepared.
Can I throw axes under the influence of alcohol/recreational drugs?
We do not allow people to throw axes who are, in OUR opinion obviously under the influence of Alcohol or recreational drugs. Please do not come expecting to throw axes if you have partaken in drink or drugs. You will NOT be allowed to throw and you will not be offered a refund.
Can I bring my own equipment?
No. Our axes are maintained by ourselves so we can monitor their integrity and overall safety to be used for throwing. We only use good quality Norse tomahawks in our ranges.
How long is a session?
Escape rooms last for an hour,but we book 90 minute slots to allow for the briefing and, in the event that the room is not completed within the hour, a little bit of time for you to solve the room and escape. Axe throwing sessions are 90 minutes, but if you're enjoying yourselves and we have no booking for your lane directly after your booking we allow you to throw for as long as you like.
